Sperm selection’ increasing chances of procreation

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI)- Infertility rates go up as couples wait until they are older to have children. Meanwhile, scientists and specialists in the field are working on solutions.

A new technological practice has arrived, and the Missouri Center for Reproductive Medicine is the only place in the U.S. where it is available.

The process is called ‘sperm selection’. Sperm selection makes it possible to study sperm samples and eliminate the viable specimens from the non-viable. This process should greatly increase the chances of procreation for couples desperate to conceive.
